• 3-5 years of Plant Process Engineering Experience.
• Responsibility for process improvement with emphasis on reducing process variation, improving product consistency, improving productivity, reducing production costs.
• Perform engineering calculations that support mathematical models to solve operating problems and optimize line operations
• Support production in autonomous maintenance to achieve maximum self-sufficiency.
• Manage production improvement projects including Root cause Analysis
• Develop SOP's and train operators on process equipment.
• Knowledge of process control and statistical analysis techniques including SPC and DOE.
• Assist management to specify, evaluate, recommend, and conduct acceptance tests on assembly process equipment.
• Train manufacturing staff in assembly processes.
• Evaluate new products for manufacturing compatibility.
• Assisting with the design and qualification of new products.
  
  Preferred:
  Knowledge / Experience in the Packaging, Extrusion and Plastic Converting Industry.
  
  BS or Equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
  
  Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Trained

Maintenance Mechanic: 

Key Functions:

Working in a safe manner, responsible for effectively troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, adjusting, replacing, and installing plant mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and electrical systems and components for all plant equipment in a high volume, continuous-run manufacturing environment. Perform fabrication of equipment and parts through welding and machining. Read prints and manuals. Lubricates and cleans parts. Use various physical senses to perform job assignment. Attends meetings, participates in individual and team initiatives, and possess excellent verbal communication skills. Completes personal training and supports others training as required. Use computer-based programs to track work, time and inventories.

Qualifications: At least one year of successful mechanical and electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing facility in the following fields.

Ability to work with computer system for maintenance processes, stores and work orders.

Provide own tools initially (tools worn out on the job will be replaced). 

Willing to work second and third shifts, call-ins, holidays, and overtime as there is a constant demand for overtime in our maintenance department.

Must possess excellent verbal communication skills, attendance and safety record with a demonstrated ability to follow directions.

(1) Tolerate varying environmental conditions that are within safe limits such as heat, cold, humidity, noise, drafts, dust, odors, and enclosed spaces, (2) Work wearing protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves when required (3) Meet physical demands around pushing, pulling, lifting, walking, climbing, etc (4) Work safely in a fast-paced environment

Excellent teamwork and cooperation; must work independently as well as in a team setting. Willingness too fully cross-train in other technical areas and train others to enhance capabilities.
